The brand now chooses to launch an even cheaper but quality alternative: the realme Buds Q2S. We have tested these Bluetooth headphones and, once again, we can say that the company has done a great job, although in this case, it does so in relatively cheap headphones and that they want to become kings in terms of value for money below 40 euros.

The autonomy of the realme Buds Q2S is enough to make trips on public transport or do sports every day without having to charge them more than once a week.
According to the company, each earphone has a range of around 5 hours, reaching up to about 30 hours in total, including charging the box.

This box also comes with a USB type C connector, which means you don’t need to use a different cable to charge them than the one you use for your Android smartphone.
In practice, I have been able to use them for several hours every day throughout the week without them being completely discharged. Its fast charge is a guarantee for those situations where you forget to charge them since they offer 2 hours of use with only 10 minutes of charging.
A design that makes them hold exceptionally well to your ear

One of the things that have surprised us the most when testing the Buds Q2S is that they are pretty compact, so much so that when you put them in your ear, it is rather difficult for them to fall out, whether you are running or playing sports or constantly bending over.
As you can see in the images, they are not large headphones, so they have no problem staying well coupled, although that also depends on the correct choice of pads.

Whether you’re walking down the street, playing sports, or simply wearing them while you move, the headphones stay perfectly positioned in your ears, and their shape means they don’t feel like falling out.
Its box is shaped like a pill, and it has the peculiarity of having a transparent lid that allows you to see if both are stored in it without having to open it. Of course, not all models have this transparent cover, only the black one.
Unlike other more expensive headphones on the market, the realme Buds Q2S does not have active noise cancellation. After all, the brand has decided to bet on outperforming its rivals in terms of price, and this feature would undoubtedly make them more expensive.
However, thanks to the way they are inserted into the ear and in-ear headphones, they have some isolation from outside sound. It doesn’t get the same result as if they had ANC, but it’s pretty helpful and gets results.
It features a 10-millimeter dynamic bass driver and Dolby Audio compatibility. They offer an excellent experience when listening to music and on calls; if you wear them with music and a volume close to the middle of the bar, it will be difficult to hear your surroundings in a calm environment.
On the street or in other noisy environments, the headphones more than meet what is expected considering their price and can offer a fairly decent sound quality with which you can listen to your favorite podcasts and music in good quality.
In terms of calls, they do have ENC and noise cancellation in the microphone for calls so that they can capture your voice well, even in noisy environments.
Finales: a safe purchase for its price
Realme has taken a run in the world of headphones, and the realme Q2S has become the cheapest alternative in the brand’s catalog if you want Bluetooth headphones. However, it is curious that they are at the same price as their predecessors on the company’s website.
They do not have active noise cancellation, but thanks to their design, they can isolate you from outside noise so that you can focus on your music, and it shows that although it does not achieve the same, it shows.
As is logical for the 29.99 euros that they cost out of the box, they do not have active noise cancellation nor an ambient mode with which you can hear sounds from your environment.
